After hours of navigating narrow tunnels and twisting stone corridors, the air grows thick and still. You brush aside a curtain of webbing and step into a vast, open chamber deep in the Underdark. The floor is slick with moisture, and great silken strands stretch from wall to wall, swaying gently in an unseen draft. Above, faint bioluminescent fungi glow dimly, casting ghostly light over the scene—just enough to see that you are not alone.
A sudden hiss pierces the silence. From the shadows, a towering drider glides into view, her spider limbs clicking softly against the stone. Around her, pale, chittering swarms scurry along the webs, and a hunched shaman raises a crooked staff, whispering to the hive.
The Drider Queen’s sinister voice echoes through the cavern:
"You’ve wandered into our web, little mortals. Now… struggle."
