HD Muscle Betaine HCL is a highly bioavailable source of hydrochloric acid (HCL). In the stomach’s gastric juice, high acidity is required to chemically digest our food, especially proteins.

Optimal gastric HCL is necessary to absorb proteins, calcium, Vitamin B12, and iron. Gastric HCL also promotes the formation and activation of pepsin, the key enzyme for protein digestion.

HD Muscle Betaine HCL is a therapeutic digestive aid formulated for those on a high protein diet. Each capsule contains 700 mg Betaine HCL and 50 mg Pepsin A (1:10,000 - 500,000 FCC Pepsin Units).

Directions: Take 1 capsule up to 3x daily with high protein meals. DO NOT take on empty stomach.
