Although that’s what many might imagine… This caramel recipe isn’t exactly what we call “Grandma’s caramel.” Rather, it’s the result of many hours of fun shared between 2 best friends. Confidantes and soulmates since the age of 12, imagine what they’ve created together! This recipe made with love, initially potted in “Bernardin” jars, was an excuse to bring Sonia and Marie-Pier together during the holiday season when they had two completely different lifestyles. Love, laughter, and confidences shared to make up for lost time and to leverage their cooking talents, their creative side, but above all, above all to please family members and their friends during holiday celebrations. Will you dare to discover this “Original” flavor where it all began? The two entrepreneurs behind Caramels FAA always joked that their Original caramel recipe, infused with love, would inevitably one day become Grandma’s caramel! Hehehe!

How to use the Original caramel?

Start the day off right by sweetening your morning coffee just enough. Why not for a second, it's the perfect little pick-me-up to finish the afternoon with energy.

Serve our original caramel on waffles, as an accompaniment to homemade pancakes or to enhance your breakfasts with your loved one.

Spread on your fresh morning bagels and croissants.

Drizzle over a white birthday cake or your best decadent brownie recipe.

Add a drizzle over a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and if you have as sweet a tooth as we do, be sure to add some to the bottom of the cone too. You'll be sure to surprise both young and old.

Pour as a topping over a fruit tart or a cheesecake.
